The November Booking Window Is Shorter Than It Looks
November has 30 days. The usable booking window for a pre-holiday cleanout is about 16.
| Window | What's Happening | Typical Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Nov 1–10 | Early bookings still open. Most people haven't started thinking about it yet. | Good |
| Nov 11–18 | Volume picks up sharply as the holiday gets real for people. | Limited |
| Nov 19–22 | Final days before the holiday crunch. Remaining slots go fast. | Very Limited |
| Nov 23–30 | Thanksgiving week. Reduced crews. Family arrival pressure is real. | Minimal |
What People Clear Before the Holidays
Pre-holiday cleanouts fall into three consistent categories:
The spare room conversion — The guest bedroom that’s been a storage room since spring. The air mattress goes up, the boxes have to go somewhere.
The garage pass-through — Family will see it. The embarrassment threshold is lower than usual in November.
The before-the-new-stuff cleanout — If gifts are coming in, something has to go out first. Old furniture, the TV being replaced, the kids’ outgrown things.
All three are predictable, which means they all hit at the same time. Book before mid-November if you want a specific date and time confirmed.
What Happens to Usable Items
We divert usable items to local donation partners when possible — furniture in decent condition, working small appliances, and similar items. Acceptance depends on what the donation center needs at that time. What can’t be donated goes to licensed disposal facilities. Either way, it leaves your home the same day we arrive.
