What to Expect on Charlotte Appliance Pickups
Charlotte routes run Monday through Saturday with morning and afternoon arrival windows. When you call, tell us what you have and where it sits in the house — that determines crew size and truck capacity.
Pricing is set on-site before anything moves. We look at the items, factor in access (stairs, tight hallways, basement vs. ground floor), and give you a firm number. You approve it before we lift anything. A single refrigerator typically runs one-quarter of a truck; a full kitchen and laundry room clear-out fills most of a truck — pricing reflects the actual load.
Disconnection is on you before we arrive. Water supply valves shut off and hoses pulled. Gas lines capped by a licensed plumber or your gas company — we don’t work on active gas lines. Electric appliances unplugged or disconnected at the breaker. We don’t perform plumbing, electrical, or gas work on-site. Once the appliance is disconnected and accessible, we handle the rest — lift, stairs, truck, and disposal.
Appliances from Charlotte pickups go to certified recyclers. Refrigerants are captured, metals are processed, and working units sometimes go to resellers. Appliances don’t get dumped when there’s a proper recycling path available — and in Charlotte there always is.
